The following seasonal menus are simply examples. Actual items received are dependent on the variety of seeds planted, the weather conditions and numerous other factors. Also, in most instances there are several types of each vegetable. For instance, last year we supplied 8 varieties of tomatoes and 4 varieties of sweet peppers. To make the weekly trip a little more convenient, we also provide some other items at a nominal extra charge. Each pickup, subscribers have the opportunity to purchase fresh baked bread, honey, soap, soda pop and pasta. All items are made locally. Subscribers can also order from Frankferd Farms before the last Friday of the month for the first pickup of the month. (Frankferd Farms is the area’s largest organic dry goods wholesaler. Finally, we raise our own free range chicken that the subscribers can purchase as well as eggs from our egg layers.
